Position Overview:
The Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CSMO) is a commercially driven leadership role responsible for maximizing revenue across ticket sales, corporate bookings, and in-venue spending, while ensuring strong brand positioning and marketing alignment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in revenue strategy, ecommerce-driven ticketing, corporate sales, and data-driven customer acquisition, with experience in experiential entertainment, hospitality, or live events. This role requires a strategic leader who can seamlessly integrate sales and marketing efforts, leveraging pricing strategies, demand forecasting, CRM-driven engagement, and omnichannel marketing to drive revenue growth. Success will come from the ability to align revenue objectives with brand storytelling, ensuring that marketing campaigns not only build awareness but also directly contribute to sales and guest lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, including brand management, digital marketing, customer acquisition, sales alignment, and market research, ensuring cohesive messaging and revenue growth across all channels.
- Lead a digital strategy focused on customer acquisition and ticket sales through ecommerce platforms and websites.
- Manage online sales platforms (similar to Shopify) for ticket sales, ensuring seamless customer experience and accurate ROI tracking.
- Oversee the sales function, managing proactive and reactive sales teams focused on high-value corporate bookings and events.
- Build and execute strategies that integrate ecommerce and brick-and-mortar goals, maintaining cohesive brand messaging across all touchpoints.
- Lead initiatives to raise brand awareness, focusing on Company unique, entertainment-driven venues and exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage digital marketing programs, including email campaigns, paid media, SEO, and social media, to maximize reach and engagement.
- Develop and oversee group sales strategies and discretionary in-venue event sales to drive additional revenue.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role (C-suite preferred) overseeing ecommerce and brick-and-mortar strategies within the entertainment, hospitality, or retail industries.
- Extensive experience in sales focused on ticketed experiences, including single ticket admissions, group sales, and comprehensive food & beverage packages, with a track record of driving revenue through both individual and group offerings.
- Strong background in digital marketing and customer acquisition, with a focus on converting online traffic into sales, particularly for ticket-based or experiential businesses.
- Experience managing sales and marketing teams, with a track record of driving revenue growth and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies that integrate both digital channels and in-person experiences.
- A background in the food and beverage industry or entertainment-driven businesses is a significant asset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience building and scaling teams in fast-paced environments.
